摘要
Interfungal interaction among some dominant leaf surface fungi and the test pathogen Alternaria alternata were observed. The test fungus was isolated from infected leaves of Ginkgo biloba and identification was confirmed by IARI, New Delhi. Dominant leaf surface fungi selected for the present study were Aspergillus niger, A. fumigatus, Rhizopus nigricans and Trichoderm album. Interfungal interaction was observed by colony interaction in agar medium and interaction on leaf surface. Maximum inhibition in lesion development was also noted by T. album followed by A. niger, C. herborum, and minimum by R. nigricans.
