Interpretation and Analysis of Vegetation Change in Loess Plateau, Northern Shaanxi Province

摘要
Vegetation is one of primary factors for soil erosion in Loess Plateau, northern Shaanxi province where soil erosion is very severe, and environment is fragile. The change of the vegetation is actually a indicator of ecological environment change. The results of the TM images interpretation in 1998 and 2002 show that the percent of vegetation coverage has increased and the environmental quality improved to some extent.
