摘要
The heat capacity of the Na2 molecule is investigated in the 2000K-6000K temperature range. At these temperatures, the classical treatment is appropriate. The contributions from the ground state and all the excited states dissociating to the 3s+3s and 3s+3p limits are taken into account. The results are compared with other known data and are discussed under the influence of unbound rovibrational and electronic excited states.
