摘要:
Synchronous induction launcher (SIL) and reconnection launcher (RL) are two typical EM launchers with different structure. In order to make an evaluation about these launchers, three-stage numerical simulation is established. Efficiency of the two launchers is analyzed and compared in this paper. Several factors, such as drive coil structure dimension, armature structure dimension, trigger position, discharging voltage and capacitance, have great effect on efficiency. These parameters are investigated and the optimal domains of the parameters to reach higher efficiency are obtained. The conclusion benefits EM launcher design and scheme choice.
