摘要：

Italians in Argentina: an International Relations Perspective. Images, Identities and States. This paper analyzes the effects of the bilateral relationship of obtaining political rights of migrants and the phenomenon of the Italian network of associations that have emerged in Argentina. It applies the concept of "transnational community" and concludes by arguing that the role of the Italians, in both Argentina's foreign policy and Italian public policy towards this country, has been limited, circumstantial and with no historical weight.
