摘要
To deeply analyze the trade flow data, trade potential, and trade characteristics of the major countries along the maritime silk road economic belt, this research built on a method to measure and analyze the trade potential of the major countries on the gravity model of foreign trade. The trade level of the countries along the maritime silk road is analyzed, and the trade potential of the major countries along the maritime silk road was measured from the static and dynamic perspectives under the framework of the foreign trade gravity model. The results showed that the level of trade among the major countries along the maritime silk road is uneven. At the same time, the measurement model under the foreign trade gravity model accords with the individual fixed effect. It shows that this method can be used to measure and analyze the trade potential of major countries along the maritime silk road economic belt. On this basis, the potential areas were explored. The results show that the trade gap among countries is increasing, and the trade status is unbalanced.
