摘要
The objective of our research is to analyse the way in which the members of the civil society perceive the phenomenon of corruption in the organizations with control powers. The respondents were selected based on the direct interaction with the control agent in the professional activity or having a relevant experience in relation to the control activity. The results of our research show that a high level of the moral values of the agents with control powers leads to a reduction of the corruption phenomenon. Moreover, the way in which a control body refers to normative acts, regulations, rules, standards and procedures applicable in its line of business and the perception of civil society regarding the phenomenon of corruption, demonstrates that the way in which the control agent operates its business does not have such a strong impact on the perception of the level of the corruption phenomenon by the members of the civil society.
