摘要
Degradation process of Reactive Black 5 (RB 5) by UV/H2O2 oxidation was carried out. The RB 5 degradation kinetics and the effects of its process parameters were studied in detail, such as H2O2 dosage, pH value and dye dosage. Important results were obtained as follows. RB 5 could be completely degraded by UV/H2O2 process. The best H2O2 dosage was 8.824 mM and the optimal pH value was 4 with 17 mg L-1 RB 5. The RB 5 removal was decreased by raising the initial RB 5 dosage. The degradation kinetics of UV/H2O2 process followed one order kinetics and hyperbola kinetics. The instant hydroxyl radical concentration and the instant reaction rate can be estimated in different reaction condition based on two kinetics analysis.
