摘要
In this paper, we present the design of U-Slot rectangular patch array antenna to use in the Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) for 5G applications at 28 GHz frequency. The antenna consists of eight elements with rectangular patch array 1x2 and added U-Slot. The desired antenna is designed on a substrate Rogers Duroid 5880 with a relative dielectric permittivity of 2.2 and its thickness is 1.575 mm. The simulation results show, its return loss is less than -10 dB in the frequency range of 27.5 - 29.5 GHz and its provides a wide bandwidth with 2.0 GHz and a unidirectional radiation pattern. Mutual coupling value is less than -20 dB for each element.
