An Ontology-Based Research on Knowledge Management in College Libraries

There is a significant difference between college libraries and other kinds of libraries in knowledge management in both content and organizing perspective. As an academic institution that serve teaching and scientific research for universities, college libraries orientating themselves exactly toward their own knowledge capital and that in the whole university at the same time. In this paper, we partition university knowledge levels into personal layer knowledge, group layer knowledge, organization layer knowledge and cross-organization layer knowledge, based on which we probe into the management of university knowledge capital in college libraries.
