摘要：

This paper presents a system, which is a contribution to empower people with meaningful information about pharmacies, their services and the medicines that each one has available. This system was developed using some Artificial Intelligence techniques and tools, such as the architecture Multi-Agent System, Ontologies and the JADE platform. We describe major difficulties found (concerning web information retrieval). This last issue is of great value to us, and it is of our interest to facilitate information access to those who seek it, and also to allow a fast and structured construction of that information to those who make it available. In order to show the applicability of our proposal some practical examples are given.
