摘要
The Escala Magallanes de Impulsividad Computarizada (EMIC) is a new and computerized version of the Matching Familiar Figure Tests (MFFT). The aim of this work is to report some of its psychometric properties. A random sample of 1,450 subjects of primary school was selected. Children were assessed by means of EMIC, MFF20, as well as attention, impulsivity/hyperactivity, disruptive behavior, and achievement scales. EMIC has showed a high internal consistency and good test-retest reliability. Negative correlations between errors and latencies can be taken as a good estimate of construct validity. Concurrent validity is also good, considering the high negative correlation coefficients found between EMIC and MFF20 scores. Finally, a moderate criterion validity was found from a more close relationship of EMIC to cognitive measures than to behavioral scales. Data confirm the good psychometric properties of EMIC.
