摘要
The three-dimensional unsteady problem of the movement of a thin body in liquid under a floating plate is solved. The effect of lateral stress of the plate on its deflections and a slope of the curved surface is analyzed. It is received that compression (stretch) of the plate leads to the decreasing (increasing) of critical speeds. The wave height reaches the greatest values for the stretched plate. At supercritical compression of the plate the wave height grows rapidly and breaking occurs.
