摘要
Through analyzing the operating principles of the hydraulic retarder of automatic transmission, it is indicated the necessity of hydraulic retarder in heavy vehicles. From testing the operating procedures and retarding ability of the hydraulic retarder, it is verified that the hydraulic retarder could extend the life of brake and enhance the driving safety.
