摘要
A method and a quantitative metric for the evaluation, visualization and tuning of anatomical-structure segmentation based on experts' manual contours are presented. This method allows to establish a point-to-point correspondence between automatic and manually drawn contours and enables context-sensitive evaluation and separate tuning of the segmentation of different parts of an object. The method was successfully applied for an automatic colonic polyp segmentation algorithm evaluation and tuning. (c) 2005 CARS & Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
