摘要
Objective: To explore the caring experiences of female caregivers. Method: In-depth interviews were conducted on 30 females caring for an older relative at home. Results: Conflict was a significant outcome of caregiving. Stress, role conflict, imbalance in equity, and imbalance in norms and values emerged as major themes. Conclusion: This study, along with a few related studies; may help to form a new basis for the study of caregiving with an emphasis mainly on conflict.
