摘要：
Patients with congenital heart defects are especially endangered by infectious diseases. They need an extended vaccination program. Before and after surgery; special recommendations have to be considered. There are rarely any real contraindications such as overt congestive heart failure or some immune deficiency syndromes. Rubella vaccination should be applied properly to everyone as this is a vaccination against heart defects in the offspring.
