摘要
Paper presents method of the diagnostics of imminent failure conditions of Direct Current generator. This method is based on a study of infrared images of the generator. Studies were carried out for two conditions of machine with the application of cross-sectional image and nearest neighbor classifier with Euclidean distance. Pattern creation process used 10 monochrome infrared images. Identification process was carried out for 100 monochrome infrared images. The experiments show that the method can be useful for protection of Direct Current generators and engines.
