Analysis on Enhancing Intercultural Communicative Competence of Engineering College Students in the Trend of Internationalization of Higher Education

With the higher development of Internationalization of higher education, engineering college students need to overcome the limitation of cross-cultural communicative competence in the course of internationalization in order to make a combination of professional development and cultural exchange, so as to promote the education internationalization. Due to the engineering students' thinking pattern and the inadequacy of humanities knowledge training at secondary school and lack of the perspective of Chinese and Western culture difference, engineering college should hold the motion of nurturing the comprehensive talents on basis of some common elements, to weaken the effect of differences between Chinese and Western culture and thinking pattern for engineering students. This requires the cultivation of students' cross-cultural communicative competence. According to the analysis of the barriers in cross-cultural communication, some measures should be taken to promote the intercultural communicative competence.
