摘要
This article briefly introduced the basic conditions of energy saving and emission reduction in the tobacco industry, and effective measures for energy saving and emission reduction, as well as the economic returns and social benefits achieved. In light of the actual circumstances of Chinese tobacco, the authors studied and proposed that, during "12th Five-Year Plan", it is to promote energy saving and emission reduction from five aspects, i.e., specifying indicator system, improving performance, establishing case databank, applying low-carbon technologies and promoting clean production to reduce production costs, etc. (C) 2011 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
