摘要
In this paper we analyze the theoretical foundations of entrepreneurial learning and shed more light on this innovative approach in higher education. Next, we discuss the importance of entrepreneurialism in universities to accommodate interdisciplinary learning modes and provide effective and adding value services. Finally, we review six case studies from Europe to illustrate innovative experiential learning practices and provide empirical support to the entrepreneurial learning framework. Purpose - Analyzing entrepreneurial learning practices and their importance for the development of higher education capabilities and the provision of effective learning services to better meet stakeholders` needs and expectations. Design/methodology/approach - Literature and case study reviews Originality/value - The paper suggests an entrepreneurial learning framework that connects learning practices, entrepreneurial behaviors and capabilities, and value creation processes in higher education. A review of significant case studies provides empirical evidence on how entrepreneurial practices can generate value for higher education stakeholders. Practical implications - The proposed framework and empirical evidence have the potential to guide higher education policy and drive value creation processes within universities.
