Magnetic field interpolation in 3D space

Algorithm and programs for three-dimensional interpolation of magnetic field of deflection system, when magnetic field strength is measured in nonregular coordinates, were written in MATLAB language using spline functions. Using this algorithm magnetic field strength can be calculated at any point of space, bounded by TV tube geometrical dimensions. Also regularized magnetic field can be made, which is further used for electron beam track computation and TV tube design. Interpolation errors are estimated using experimental data. Made-up algorithm can be applied not only for deflection system, but also for interpolation of fields created by other devices.
