Detection of trace lead at boron-doped diamond electrodes by anodic stripping analysis

摘要
Boron-doped diamond electrodes were used to investigate the possibility of detecting toxic trace metals such as lead by differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry without benefit of a mercury film. Lead concentrations down to 4 x 10(-9) M were detected. The present technique, which makes use of bare polycrystalline diamond electrodes, shows great promise for the analysis of toxic metals and various other hazardous environmental contaminants.
