摘要
We present a simulation study of a pillbox-type RF window for a W-band TWT. The window consists of a polycrystalline diamond disk brazed into a copper waveguide mode converter assembly. We discuss progress on thermal and electromagnetic simulations, with a view toward establishing high-average-power operating limits regarding electric breakdown and thermal overload.
