Ontology-based Modeling Method for Semantic Telecommunication Services

摘要
The current telecommunications network can only provide syntax-layer services and not provide semantic-layer services. We present an ontology-based modeling method for telecommunication services that is not only an effective solution to the current telecommunications network, but also lays the foundation for convergent services with semantic information. Firstly, we propose the mathematical model for telecommunication services - TS and Web Ontology Language for Services (OWL-S) - SWS In fact, the modeling method for telecommunication services is to build the mapping between the TS and the SWS. Then, by extending existing OWL-S, we discuss the modeling method for telecommunication services in detail. Finally, we introduce a prototype system about semantic web services based on the method. Experimental results point out the modeling method is feasible and semantic telecommunication services are superior to current telecommunication services.
