摘要
One of the most outstanding features of the Unified Modeling Language (UML)(1,2) is that by means of its own concepts, users are given the possibility of adding properties and of restricting, broadening, or redefining language semantics to adapt them to their needs. This is precisely the main objective of the so-called UML extension mechanisms: the stereotypes, constraints, and tagged values. Stereotypes in particular can be used to create new modeling elements that correspond, for example, to elements in the method or programming language selected for the development of a software system, This article studies the concept of a stereotype and the manner in which it can be used to adapt the UML to the modeling requirements of the Objectory Process analysis phase.(3) Far this purpose, we'll show the use of various language-predefined stereotypes(2,4) and propose the definition of other special interest stereotypes for this process.
