Portal "Clearness and Trueness" - What can be learned from it?

摘要
The internet platform Clearness & Trueness (C&T) was initiated by the Federation of German Consumer Organisations (vzbv) and the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection (BMELV). It was established to provide an online consumer portal as contact point for consumer complaints on food labeling and presentation. In addition, the C&T platform has the objective to improve consumers' trust in the food industry by delivering transparent, fair and objective information about food labeling. Since its launch in 2011 more than 7,300 users submitted complaints about the labeling of specific products and over 700 users requested additional information on consumer protection. About 90,000 consumers participated in surveys and approximately 7,000 consumers questioned experts in the forum of the platform Clearness & Trueness.
