摘要
Study of transient behavior of DC motors can be very cumbersome for students due to hazardous conditions prevailing in power laboratories and also the differential equation are not linear and tricky to solve and comprehend analytically. This paper helps in developing a GUI (Graphical User Interface) on transient behavior of some DC motors i.e. separately excited, shunt excited and series wound DC motor. The GUI modeling is based on the block model approach in MATLAB/SIMULINK & can be used by undergraduate students in their day to day lectures and laboratory experiments.
