摘要
This paper introduces the operation and control strategies of wind power in Dispatching Center of China's largest provincial grid of wind power in capacity and proportion, West Inner Mongolia Power Grid. Firstly, off-line calculation of static voltage stability, transient stability, small signal stability, thermal stability and short circuit current of the power system with a large scale wind power has been done to make sure the grid is safe in both steady state and dynamic process. Secondly, the system of wind power foresting has been built and the forecasting result of a single wind farm, wind zones and the whole system can be achieved. Based on wind power forecasting, daily power balance with wind power has been done to accommodate wind power as much as possible, especially in valley time. Thirdly, the aim of automatic generation control and automatic voltage control has been achieved in some of the wind farms and the project is still under researching and developing to make most of the wind farms under closed-loop control in the near future.
