摘要
GPS receiver design is becoming a challenging aspect depending upon the operating environment (Scintillation) of the user. In order to overcome these challenges, a reconfigurable Software Receiver approach is developed through programming that can adapt to its environment. In order to understand the implementation of receiver, the theory and algorithms behind these processes are presented. The performance of GPS signal Acquisition and Tracking is evaluated in mat lab. At the early stage, RF signals are down converted to IF signals and are digitized using ADC. Then signals are processed to obtain navigation message bits, DLL and PLL discriminators outputs. The soft GPS receiver which is been proposed with parallel code phase acquisition algorithm and tracking algorithms are presented in this paper, which provides flexibility of operation.
