Production of crimes: a comparative study on the management of cases by the police and the public prosecutor in France and Brazil

摘要：
How certain facts are translated as crimes? How are they enunciated and managed by the judicial institutions? This article focuses attention to the ritual phases of production of reports by two institutions which have a privileged role in formalizing the attribution of the criminal quality to a fact: the police and the public prosecutor. It analyzes the legal and organisational policies, how people establish rules to frame some facts and it observes the forms in which the reports and documents intended for the legal process are produced.
