A Reconfigurable Filter Based on Quarter-Mode Substrate Integrated Waveguide (QMSIW) Resonator

摘要
In this paper, a reconfigurable filter based on quarter-mode substrate integrated waveguide (QMSIW) resonator is proposed. QMSIW is employed to reduce the size of the filter, and the filter can be tuned with the varactors loaded on the QMSIW. QMSIW resonator with a single varator loaded is studied and a two order filter is designed and simulated. The simulated results show that the work frequency can be tuned from 1.2 GHz to 2.6 GHz, and insertion loss is better than 2.2 dB.
