摘要
Mobile data offloading, or else known as Wi-Fi offloading, is a method where the mobile service provider by using auxiliary networks swaps their clients mobile data traffic from the cellular to partially fixed and partially wireless networks. The offloading procedure will greatly cut down the large amount of data being transmitted on the cellular frequencies therefore resulting in a more flexible network. The offload is a solution scenario even where GSM cell reception may be poor. In these paper we will see how an alternative Wi-Fi network is integrated in the existing infrastructure, we'll focus on security matters and also try to explain why the building of such networks is good for the business both on technical and financial aspects. We will mainly try to explain the core part of this secondary network as it is the most important part in setting up the new equipment. Security matter will be treated as in wireless networks we face a bigger possibility of attacks and threats.
