The default provisions of revised article 9 of the uniform commercial code: Part II

The two sponsors of the Uniform Commercial Code (the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws and the American Law Institute) recently approved revised Article 9, which governs security interests in personal property and fixtures. The most extensive changes have been made to the default provisions, which are examined in derail in this Article (the second of two parts). The Article provides comparative analysis of current and revised default provisions, offers drafting advice where appropriate, discusses perceived statutory weaknesses, and raises issues that may survive enactment.
