摘要
Structures observed following the evaporation of n-hexadecane from the polished surface of a natural IIb diamond in air have been investigated using atomic force microscopy (AFM). The diamond surface is decorated by the same two types of isolated features as observed on the terraces of graphite following hexadecane evaporation, though on diamond, a much lower surface coverage, and different relative populations are observed.
