Recognize market risks in downturn

Taken together, the upstream and downstream factors suggest that it will be increasingly challenging in 2009 to maintain a profitable production backlog. PCI's most successful producers have historically taken advantage of economic downturns to focus on building market share at the expense of competing building systems. Such an approach is especially promising with the current upward price pressures on steel construction.
