Fire gases detection system based on photoacoustic spectroscopy principle

摘要
A fire gas detection system is designed based on photoacoustic principle using the self-made photoacoustic cell combined with the wavelength modulation technique, while the CO concentrations generated from the combustions of polyurethane foam and n-heptane are measured. The experiments show that the detection system responds well to CO and has a good linear relationship. The system is characterized with stability and reliability over a long period of time, which is able to meet the need of fire detection.
