摘要
An analytical model which can simulate the nonlinear behavior of reinforced concrete(RC) structures subjected to in-plane shear and normal stresses is introduced. Using the concept of average stresses and strains, a criterion is proposed to simulate the tension-stiffening effect. The material behavior of concrete is described by an orthotropic constitutive relation with tension-stiffening and compression softening effects defining equivalent uniaxial stress-strain relation in the axes of orthotropy. Finally, correlation studies between analytical results and available experimental data are conducted to verify the soundness of the proposed model.
