摘要
We present a lapped directional wavelet transform. The directional selectivity of the wavelet transform is improved by using a redundant polyphase decomposition. The proposed transform is biorthogonal, and the set of two-dimensional directional filters used for the discrete wavelet transform is based on B-spline functions. Using a modified lifting scheme, we introduce a systematic design method and a fast computational algorithm for these filters.
