摘要
1,3-Dipolar cycloaddition of azomethine ylides to C-60 leads to the isolation of a family of fullerene derivatives, named fulleropyrrolidines. Such derivatives are useful building blocks in the design and synthesis of new materials. The combination of the fullerene properties with those of other interesting units such as polymers, photo and electroactive groups, may produce useful derivatives with new applications in materials science.
