摘要
In this article the authors are proposing, as an intermediate result of an international project that are involved in regarding Maritime Spatial Planning of the Black Sea, to develop a multi-criteria analysis in terms of the factors that are determinants for urban development in Romania Black Sea coastal zone. The main objective of this article is to point out, to quantify and to link the relationship of dependency between urban development and marine spatial planning in coastal zone. Therefore, the article's approach includes, as a case study, the Romanian coastal zone of the Black Sea from the point of view of building stock. The analysis results present some considerations and some answers related to the integrated management of the coastal zones of the Romanian Black Sea in terms of sustainable development in the territorial context of a coastal area. In the study, the multi-criteria analysis used is based mainly on statistical information regarding building stock which is graphically interpreted and correlated with the urban development related to Romanian Black Sea coastal zone. This approach is achieved in terms of urban development needs in order to validate the economic, social and ecological objectives of a sustainable development in a strategic maritime border area, as the one of the Black Sea coast.
