摘要：
This paper presents a forewarning system of disastrous weather based on GPRS network. The upper computer is composed of a PC and a voice card for forewarning information distribution and the lower computer is composed of an embedded processor and a GSM /GPRS module as a forewarning terminal. The forewarning terminal can carry out sound and light alarm and voice broadcast, and it can control the rural broadcasting system according to the warning levels, thereby it can improve the efficiency of early warning.
