STOCHASTIC DYNAMICS OF ROTATING WIND TURBINE BLADES INFLUENCED BY TURBULENCE AND AEROELASTIC UNCERTAINTIES: RECENT DEVELOPMENTS

摘要
This paper describes the results of recent developments examining the flutter instability of wind turbine blades subject to various sources of input error and noise. The problem is relevant to the safety of the very long blades, usually installed on offshore wind turbine towers. The formulation is based on an implementation of stochastic calculus methods, allowing the evaluation of the effects of both inflow turbulence and aeroelastic load modeling errors and simplifications. The study establishes the general conditions for moment stability Feasibility of this type of analysis for the reliability of the blades is demonstrated by a numerical example.
