摘要
Internet is the fastest growing medium which is also flexible, interactive and almost ubiquitous. This makes it quite attractive channel for marketing communication, which is currently used by almost every successful business. Internet also offers space for individualism with the help of the latest technologies that enable marketers to send highly personalized messages based on the information of consumers, such as viewing history, personal interests and so on. Online marketing is marketing in the special environment of the internet based on traditional marketing. The aim of this paper is summarizing of trends in online marketing at a global level and subsequent describing of the current status of the issue in the Slovak Republic.
