摘要
The article deals with the smart grid in a financial perspective in terms of non-renewable and renewable energy source switch. The paper presents a short introduction to smart grids following the financial study that consists of three parts. Within the financial study we have the comparison of energy production prices between non-renewable and renewable energy sources, provided with calculations of costs per kWh eq. of each of the primary energy sources and showing the benefits of closing non-renewable and opening renewable energy power plants. At the end conclusions are given in regards with the financial study and the results found.
