摘要
The aim of the study was to analyze the patterns of sensitivity to antifungal agents of the clinical isolates of Aspergillus spp. cultured from patients hospitalized at a university hospital. Among 23 cultured strains dominated A. flavus (10 isolates) and A. niger (7 isolates). Fungi Aspergillus spp. were most often isolated from ear specimens (swabs and drains) and sputum. The in vitro sensitivity testing showed a high percentage of strains sensitive to amphotericin B and itraconazole (78,3%), while all strains were resistant to fluconazole. Only 3 strains (A. niger) appeared sensitive to 5-fluorocytosine (5-FC). It is necessary to perform the in vitro assays on cultured strains due to variable patterns of sensitivity of clinical isolates of Aspergillus spp. to antifungal compounds.
