Dutch Literature in the periodical Nyugat in the first half of the 20th Century

Dutch Literature in the periodical Nyugat in the first half of the 20th Century Synopsis: My essay is basically the starting point of my postgradual thesis. By analyzing the articles published about Dutch writers in Nyugat, the most important Hungarian literary periodical in this period, I am planning to place the Dutch literature in a Hungarian literary context. My aim is also to find the reasons behind the (possibly) different reception of the Dutch literature in Hungary and in the Netherlands and to reveal how (un)popular was the Dutch literature in Hungary in the first half of the 20th century compared to other foreign literatures.
