摘要
The effect of shrinkage-reducing admixture (SRA) on setting time, mechanical properties and volume stability of concrete has been investigated. SRA delays setting time of concrete to a tolerable degree and slightly enhances its strength development except those in early age. SRA can significantly reduce autogenous shrinkage and drying shrinkage of concrete, resulting in a decrease of restrained shrinkage stress. Therefore, incorporating of SRA can enhance the anti-cracking ability of concrete under restrained condition.
