摘要
Cloud computing is a model that offers on-demand computational resources to clients as services. In this concept, users are charged based on a pay-per-use business model. Therefore, it dramatically reduces operating costs associated with the maintenance of the local data center. Recently, database is provided as a service to fulfill clients' demand. Following this, companies can rely on a remote database to manage their data. Consequently, organizations are more and more interested in adopting this new technology as they could see the benefits of doing so. In spite of its multiple advantages, the shift to cloud database arises several challenges: managerial, legal and technical. In general, several solutions have been proposed to secure clients' data, but very few of them are interested in database exploitation. In this context, we propose a technique based on homomorphic scheme to secure this new paradigm. In fact, this approach guarantees data confidentiality and enables users to perform arithmetic operation over encrypted data.
