摘要
Aiming at the cycloid gear whose material is hardened bearing steel, which has characteristics of thin-wall, high surface hardness and complex profile, we establish the finite element mode for its milling, and study the finite element simulation of the milling force in high speed machining by using the finite element software. The profile curve of cycloidal gear is divided into three parts, and the finite element model has build separately. Predictions of cutting force and its tendency presents that the results of the FE simulation accords with the experiment. This paper provides a feasible approach to estimate the cutting force of cycloidal gear with bearing steel.
